Teasewater

 

As a kid, I often heard my grandfather, a dairy farmer and cattle dealer, use the word “Teasewater” to describe the excitement at an auction when he couldn’t stop bidding on a prized steer. I always loved that word, and vowed to someday have a farm of my own named after that funny expression.

 

Twenty years and three states later, with an encouraging husband and three children, I’ve found a passion of my own in offering fresh baked gourmet granola to our loyal customers. Teasewater Farms granola was launched using the special recipe our family has coveted for years. A little over two years into the mix, we have only just begun this baking adventure and are looking forward to where it may take us.
 

 

We currently offer two flavors – Cranberry Almond & Blueberry Pecan. Both begin with organic rolled oats and are sweetened with honey. With no preservatives, it’s best to treat Simply Granola as a bakery product with a shelf life of about three weeks – though we think anyone will be hard pressed not to finish the entire bag in a couple days. Besides topping granola with milk for breakfast, try it with vanilla yogurt, ice cream, or even cottage cheese. We love it sprinkled on green salads or thrown into muffin mixes by the handful. Stirred into a batch of oatmeal, you’ll think you’re at a bed and breakfast in the middle of the week!
